An ETF or exchange traded fund is a marketable security that tracks an index, a commodity, bonds or a basket of assets like an index fund. Unlike mutual funds, ETF trades like a common stock on a stock exchange. ETFs experience price changes throughout the day as they bought and sold.
Unit Trust
A unit trust is a fund composed of investors money which is invested in a variety of financial assets. When you invest in a unit trust, your money is pooled with that of other investors to form a fund and invested into various assets to meet the unit trusts objectives by a fund manager.
Bonds
A bond is a debt investment in which an investor loans money to an entity (typically corporate or governmental) which borrows the funds for a defined period of time at a variable or fixed interest rate.
